Since we started, our small young team is steadily forming into a formidable little crew. With credentials in skiing, rally driving (and Instructing), motorcycle touring (and Instructing) and mountaineering; our teams proven ability and enthusiasm is reflected in the lengths and extremities to which we will go to create ground-breaking daring motorcycling adventures. It really does make all the difference!

Lianne – managing almost everything |

Lianne is responsible for pretty much everything in our office. She brings with her wealth of experience from her days spent as a rally driver (National & International) and as rally instructor. She also has post-graduate qualifications in Journalism and media relations and speaks a grand total of 1 language - Ye old English. Fondest memory is when aged 12, she found her own way back after her father (sunil) took a leap into the unknown whilst skiing off-piste in Val Thorens, France.

Nicholas – expedition coordinator |

Nicholas looks after the bookings and communicates with clients’ enquiries. He joined the team after he found out his father had started Purebiketours. Nick’s responsible for organising expedition activities as a well as making sure our staff are updated with developments. He plans to get started with his own motorcycling training and is an avid skier.

Previous occupations include working down the mines in Nottinghamshire and as a BASI qualified skiing instructor, spent winter seasons teaching in Italy, Austria, Switzerland and France. For several years he lived in Manali, the foothills of the Himalayas and his experiences and knowledge of the regions help create the most innovative motorcycle adventures in recent years. His biking days started at 17, but at 21 working life, his motorcycling days were put on the back burner. The fire was reignited 30 years later. |

After a chance meeting with Sunil in the high Himalayas, a great friendship endures. Tenzin leads our Trans Himalayas Expeditions. His knowledge of Buddhism is unsurpassed, because he actually spent two years in a Monastery and his skills of navigating across the high Himalayas is impeccable. He’s one for having something up his sleeve for our riders and also heads our Bhutan motorcycle adventures - speaks English, German, Nepali and Hindi and is great at finding out the perfect cup of tea. |

Biking since the age of 14, Vicki is a qualified motorcycle instructor and her passion for motorbiking is refreshingly remarkable. Over 20 years a biker, this lady is streetwise and has an acute awareness of the open road. She admits the freedom of the road has become a lifestyle, where, for the moment she splits her time between India and her native Scotland. Her visit to India in 2006 she was bitten by the Bullet; in fact so much so, she started her own South India tours and her website www.nirvanabiketours.com |
