Purebiketours (PBT) is the operator of all motorcycle
expeditions shown on our website. PBT is registered with Anderson & Co. Accountants Ltd, 18 Diamond Ave, Kirkby in Ashfield, Nottinghamshire NG17 7GR United Kingdom. In respect of these Booking Conditions, We/Purebiketours” and “You/Participant(s)” – will be the person(s) whose name and details appear on the online booking form.
The Contract –
1) These conditions of contract,
2) The specific itinerary for the motorcycle expedition on which you have booked,
3) The online booking along with Participants’ deposit funds clearing at PBT bank, all of which will hereby be incorporated into and shall constitute the entire contract binding between PBT and the Participant(s). It will be taken as Participants’ have read and understand these conditions of booking and that you waiver and release form of rights before expedition start date.
Force Majeure – unusual and unforeseeable circumstances beyond the control of PBT, the consequences of which could not have been avoided, even if all due care had been exercised.
1. PAYMENT
1.1) Payments can be made by cheque or postal order in the name of Purebiketours and must be sent to; Purebiketours, 10 Wesley Street, Annesley Woodhouse, Nottinghamshire NG17 9HJ. If Participants’ want to make payments by bank transfer or by online bank transaction, we will forward you PBT bank details separately.
1.2) A deposit of £500 per person must accompany your online booking.
1.3) Schedule for balance payments: 35% of remaining balance is due 9 months before start date and 65% due 4 months before start date. If booking within 4 month period of expedition start – full costs are due.
1.4) International Participants’ will ensure that the full GBP Sterling amount is received by Purebiketours after all bank charges have been levied. (At our discretion, we may waiver the bank charges imposed)
1.5) No reminders will be sent for balance payments. If Participants’ fail to pay the balance payments on due dates, we will treat the Contract as cancelled and no refunds will be made.
5.2) If any Participant(s) prior to booking have a medical condition or have to use prescribed medication that we should know about. It is the Participants’ duty to notify us beforehand and is their responsibility to obtain relevant medical advice as regards to vaccinations required for the expedition destination.
5.3) Documents – as a guide; all Participants’ must bring with them the following paperwork without which PBT may refuse them from joining their expedition. Your passport with six months clear remaining, visa for expedition destination country, full motorcycle/driving licence from your country of residence, International driving licence, vaccination and personal travel insurance documentations.
5.4) PBT will take no responsibility if you are not allowed to fly due to inappropriate paperwork and reserve the right to retain the cost of the expedition.
5.5) In alliance with your expedition booking with PBT you agree to give authority to your expedition leader during your travels, where decisions may be needed for the benefit and safety of everyone.
6. OUR RESPONSIBILITY
6.1) It is our duty to ensure we deliver the expedition you
have booked with us to the best of our ability and that it precedes in accordance with the itinerary as stated on our website, thereafter making sure as reasonable as possible your journey is unhindered en-route. Our itineraries have been designed with consideration to the environments in which we travel, its people and its cultures. Participants’ should therefore realise that hygiene and safety standards in countries in which we journey are far different to the standards of our own. However, PBT take care when booking locations, should offer the best of the area in which our riders stay and dine.
6.2) Any Participant(s) portraying acts of negligence on the expedition will not only risk their own life, but also that of their fellow riders and will be cautioned. Repeated actions of Participants’ in question will have their expedition terminated immediately and no refunds will be given. No refunds will be given to participants who leave an expedition en-route. PBT will not be held responsible for any traffic accidents caused through carelessness.
6.3) Due to the nature of our motorcycle adventures and their locations – PBT reserve the right if deemed necessary, to divert the course of an already commenced expedition away from events (deemed harmful) to the safety of an alternative route.
6.4) Force Majeure – if for any unforeseeable reason interruptions cause delay(s) en-route, preventing PBT from fulfilling their expedition obligations. Any additional expenditure incurred during the interruptions will have to be borne by the participant(s). However, we will do our utmost (within our power) to rectify the situation into continuing on with the adventure.
8 ACCOMMODATION
Room allocations are as per same sex twin-room sharing.
Where a single room has been requested, a single room supplement will apply and will be on “first come – first served basis”. |

2. EXPEDITION COSTS
All expedition costs are as specified on our website and are effective as of time of display and inclusive of items as mentioned in the expedition inventory. Hereafter, unforeseeable factors such as local currency fluctuation or Government levy may render PBT to increase their costs as proportionate in line with those fluctuations. If the increase is more than 10% of the expedition costs. Participant(s) will have the right to cancel their expedition with a full refund.
3. CANCELLATION(s)
3.1) PBT reserve the right to cancel an expedition if say for
exceptionally unusual circumstances beyond our control prevent us from carrying out our duties or where the minimum number of riders have not been reached. Otherwise we will not cancel an expedition. In all cases it is up to the Participants’ to arrange suitable insurance to cover any additional losses not covered by PBT policy of reimbursement due to cancellation. PBT will reimburse funds that could be retrieved.
3.2) Participant(s) cancellation – Please note deposits’ are non-refundable.
a) 4 months prior to start date – 75% of expedition
costs will be refunded
b) 3 months prior to start date – no refund of
expedition costs
c) No refunds will be made to Participants’ who leave
their expedition en-route
(Participants’ should take out travel insurance which
covers cancellation)
4. BOOKING TRANSFER
Any Participant wishing to transfer a booking to another person, may do so on the strict understanding that PBT will ask for written notice of the same and that the new Participant is under obligation to provide PBT with the necessary details and information as required and all booking conditions will apply to the transferee. Administration charges of £150 will be applicable for the new transaction.
5. YOUR RESPONSIBILITY
5.1) Participants’ booking is accepted on the understanding
that they realise the risks and hazards associated with motorcycle activities include personal injury, physical exertion, risks associated with altitude and inconvenience when travelling through remote areas, and knowing that access to evacuation may not be readily available. You accept and consent to the personal risks inherent in the implementation of this Contract and, accept the limitations of PBT liability set out herein as being reasonable.
7 FOREIGN TRAVELS
7.1) PBT take great care in avoiding locations where civil and political unrest is the norm or where uncertainty would give rise to jeopardising the wellbeing of our Participant’s.
7.2) All Participants’ are responsible for making themselves aware through their country of residence Foreign Office Department about warnings and any other sources available to them in regard to the safety of the countries and areas in which they will be travelling and to make their decisions accordingly.
8 COMPLAINTS
PBT endeavours to supply you with the best possible service on your journey, ensuring you have a great time. However, if you have a complaint during your expedition, please notify your expedition leader immediately in order to rectify the situation. If your complaint was unresolved, then a written letter should be sent within 25 days from expedition completion date to: Purebiketours, 10 Wesley Street, Annesley Woodhouse, Nottinghamshire NG17 9HJ United Kingdom.
9 LAW & JURISDICTION
The Contract shall be construed in accordance with English law and the parties irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts to settle any disputes, which may arise out of or in connection with this Contract.
10 FINANCIAL SECURITY
As a member of the Association of Bonded Travel
Organisers Trust Limited (ABTOT) an association approved by the Department of Trade and Industry, Purebiketours has provided a Bond to meet the requirements of the Package Travel, Package Holidays and Package Tour Regulations 1992 in respect of non-flight inclusive packages only. This gives UK and International Participants’ full protection in the unlikely event of PBT insolvency. For more information, visit www.abtot.com.

PBT reserve the right to amend these conditions without
prior notice – but for the sole purpose of continuously improving our services. |
